Quiet as a Mouse!
- “Over time”, the working class adapted to their station in life. Like the rodent, they evolved to squeeze into the tightest places allotted them; as ‘quiet as a mouse’ , as the expression goes.
- Thus Middle Class is squeezed out of society: not taking up much room, not asking too many questions, unnoticed as they quietly pass through life. Overworked, over whelmed, now over educated and rapidly disappearing.
Is this our epithet?
