A lively discussion on Israeli-American relations !
Join Senior Rabbi Ammiel Hirsch and the Stephen Wise Free Synagogue Israel Committee (I’m a contributing member and will attend!) at 7 PM on Tuesday, 12/15/15 for an evening with distinguished speaker Ambassador Dennis Ross focusing on U.S. policy towards Israel. Amb. Ross will discuss his latest book, Doomed to Succeed: The U.S.-Israel Relationship from Truman to Obama. In his book, Amb. Ross takes us through every administration from Truman to Obama, and he argues that attempts by the U.S. to distance itself from Israel are misguided. The talk will feature a Q&A and book signing.
Ambassador Dennis Ross is counselor and William Davidson Distinguished Fellow at The Washington Institute for Near East Policy. He has been a direct participant in shaping U.S. policy toward the Middle East and Israel for nearly thirty years, in both Republican and Democratic administrations.
Registration is required; ticketing is as follows: $18 Friend ($24 at the door); $36 Supporter; $72 Patron (with reserved seating); $118 Fellow (with reserved seating).
