TheVoiceOfJoyce The Storming of our Capitol on January 6 th was an assault against our Democracy. The people storming the Capitol are receiving stiff prison sentences for the assault on Government property, the breaking and entering of private offices within the Capitol and the assault on Police officers. The Election of 2020 was not in dispute. January 6 th marks the legal transfer of power, according to our Constitution, to the Winner of the Presidential race. Why violate the Constitution? Desecrate monuments when you disagree with the results? Why not make elections easier for people to Vote and have their voices heard? Democracy, one person, one vote. We’re lucky to live in a Democracy!
