TheVoiceOfJoyce Unionization is sweeping the Corporate World. For years worker pay has stagnated and now the NLRB is responsive to labor’s requests for decent wages, proper staffing, safety, sick pay and a seat at the Corporate table. Geico has joined the list of Corporations, where labor is seeking to Unionize. Starbucks, Chipotle, Petco, Amazon are unionizing. More employees will follow. The $7.25 minimum wage hasn’t increased in a generation. Most people can’t keep up with inflation or afford healthy foods, Unionization assures a living wage.

A recent Gallup poll found 71% of Americans approve of labor unions, the highest approval rate since 1965. The NLRB has seen a 58% increase in union election petitions in the first three-quarters of fiscal year 2022. The number of strikes increased 76% in the first half of 2022 compared with 2021, with nearly three times the number of workers on strike.
