Nashville has a method for debating the necessity of constructing them in residential neighborhoods. There’s good reasons not to want Data Centers and the Financial Times counts the reasons :1. They frequently build without permits. 2. They go off grid and don’t share electricity with the Public. 3. They’re powered 99.9% of the time, per Musk. 4. They’re huge polluters, increasing our carbon emissions. They use gas & diesel fuels . 5. They’re using up our water resources. AI is not viable at this time and 800+ centers are planned.
