Unfortunately, right to work states discourage union jobs and pay less than union workers. Corporations pay $1.5 Billion a year to avoid becoming a Union shop. Unions are desirable and give labor bargaining power. With Corporations controlling our economy, our ability to afford the basics has decreased.
