With uncertainty in America & with diseases of despair (alcoholism, opioid addiction & suicide) approaching 190,000 before Covid. With Covid we’ve induced more trauma & fiscal uncertainty. A universal basic wage would encourage people to seek help and be healthier &?happier. This is a remedy for unemployment now!

Amsterdam has an economic model that proposes people live in harmony with our environment. We base success on thriving. While the 90% who remain with stagnant wages & diseases of despair would benefit from a cash infusion. It doesn’t have to be much, . I was proposing $12,000 & Rutger Bergman has seen that $5000 may be sufficient to help those in poverty create better lives for themselves, while decreasing costs dramatically in healthcare needs. AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce At least 10% of all workers have more than one job to earn a living. 28% of the work force may hold multiple jobs. Having 1 job is preferable, if an individual is well paid. However, in our current State of Inequality, having one job is not sufficient earnings. A new metric will help define our Labor force. However, Income Inequality is not sustainable for Americans. The USA is the most unequal of similar Nations.

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce Stockton residents are given $500 month extra, a 30% increase in their income, by SEED and it makes a big difference in time spent with family, feeling good about yourself, being able to trust. Basic Living Wage when there is no social safety net. Now, 100 families are benefiting from this social experiment lasting 18 months. Looks like a win win
