The Voice of Joyce: Heart & Pulse of the Middle Class : Tune in to Periscope 11AM

The kids are wrong. The Middle Class can’t spend their way out of Recession. Retired people can’t do it. Wall Street is hoping the consumer will return. It isn’t possible without higher wages and more jobs for more people at all levels of competence?

• We need jobs. It’s the Economy,  stupid! Without another massive stimulus program , we’ll fall into a deeper Recession. Just like 1937. Only I don’t want a war to turn the Country around! I want to #TaxRiskStopInequality.

A couple of small answers to our dire situation:

• The Senate may expand the SBA by $5 Billion.  Increasing the funding from $18.75 Billion – $23.5 Billion  A start,  people are driven to start businesses because there are no other ” good” options.  1100 applications are awaiting funding.     Most,  I would think,  need a minimum of $25,000-$50,000+? (This section has been corrected due to an error in reporting Millions , not Billions .  Sorry for the confusion.)
• In 2 weeks, guess there most be a time out for vacation, Cuomo and Christie to meet on  tunnel and rail planning upgrades in our Northeast Corridor. We’ll be watching!
• Biden and Coumo are starting to work on LaGuardia. Let’s keep a count of new jobs. $4.5 Billion being spent, not the $ 16 Billion proposed. A start? On most construction projects Labor costs could run 40%.   Will we see upwards of 30,000 jobs?
