TheVoiceOfJoyce Political censorship encountered as either Trump or Trumps GOP determine what “We the People “ can see, hear or read.

Trump’s Government is not Lincoln’s GOP. On inauguration eve, Lincoln opened the White House to the Public, stating it was the People’s house!

Does the Republican Party exist?

Have we lost free speech?

Have we lost freedom of the Press?

Have we lost access to Government records, guaranteed by the Freedom of Information Act?

What happened to a Government by the People, For the People?

The Epstein saga is now not only causing trouble for Donald Trump, but also the House of Representatives. Democrats on the Rules Committee, which sets the terms of debate for legislation, are trying to force a vote to compel the administration to release documents related to Jeffrey Epstein. Anxious to avoid having to vote for either releasing the documents, which would upset the president, or suppressing information about the convicted child molester, Republicans have reportedly decided that the committee will not hold any votes before the House goes on its August break later this week.

The administration barred a Wall Street Journalreporter from travelling with the president to Scotland this week. The decision comes after Mr Trump sued the newspaper for publishing details of a “bawdy” letter Mr Trump allegedly sent to Epstein (which he denies doing). The administration previously kicked the Associated Press out of the press pool for refusing to call the Gulf of Mexico the “Gulf of America”.

A district judge in Washington, DC ruled that the administration broke the law by taking down a website that records how federal agencies spend money. The government had claimed that the system revealed sensitive information and was a risk to national security. The judge ordered the Office of Management and Budget, which runs the database, to put it back online.
