TheVoiceOfJoyce Paul Krugman, the economist, is concerned that there will be very few jobs created while pursuing AI and neglecting the rest of societal needs and growth. If we continue to pursue AI, we need few jobs after Data Center construction and very few people will have jobs. Trillions will be spent to create AI serving a few. Paul Krugman examines the effects of AI expenditures on the economy and finds all other sector spending decreases along with job creation. Data centers, once built, require 50-100 people. If we want full employment at good wages we must invest in clean energy, education, healthcare, transportation and infrastructure, too!
