Hi all! Here are the upcoming actions:
First a reminder that every Tuesday we are out at Fox from 12 to 1pm (48th St. and 6th Ave). This action is rain or shine, so if it is a “wintery mix” as predicted for tomorrow we will still be out there (maybe not for the whole hour). Usually, after Fox we go on the Cowardly Law Firm Crawl to three collaborating spineless law firms.
We are also out at 26 Federal Plazaevery Thursday from 12 to 1pm for a silent Immigration Vigil (with very strong signs). Meet us at the employee entrance on Worth St. between Broadway and Lafayette St. This is also a rain or shine action (but be forewarned that this is an unusually windy and cold street to protest on – dress for 10 degrees colder than reported).

New York Times/Dealbook Event with Trump Sycophants
The New York Times/Dealbook is having an all day event at Jazz at Lincoln Center with Scott Bessent (Treasury), David Ellison (Paramount/CBS), Alex Karp (Palantir), Ben Shapiro (Influencer), and Brian Armstrong (Coinbase/Crypto) among many others (some good some terrible). Basically, they are welcoming and platforming billionaires and media moguls who are destroying democracy. We will be in the building protesting in the lobby at lunch hour. If you would like to join us, meet us at exactly 1PM on the ground floor by the Jazz at Lincoln Center Box office (if you get there early walk around the shops or hang out outside). See map below.

Steps Of Saint Patrick’s (SE corner 5th Ave. 51st St.)
Immigration Vigil/Nativity
Join us for our special holiday Immigration Vigil with Nativity (activist playing Mary and Joseph, and a cardboard Donkey and Sheep). We do this to remind people coming to see the tree and St. Patrick’s that Mary and Joseph were refugees seeking asylum, and that Trump would deport them without due process. We will also have “ICE IS TRUMP’S GESTAPO” and other signs – if you don’t want to carry signs about Jesus or get in costume. We have done this for several years with varying Church and NYPD responses, so if we are not on the steps look across the street for us.

Meet at 1333 Broadway (NOT AT GOTHAM HALL!!)
Financial Times Gala Honoring Cowardly Law Firms
Join us to hold accountable the Cowardly Law Firms being honored by the Financial Times. We need brave lawyers not collaborators to stop Project 2025 and attacks on the constitution. The last time we demonstrated at an event at the Gotham Hall, we surprised NYPD and the security and got right in front of the entrance. This time they might be expecting us, so we are meeting across the street and down the block at 1333 Broadway (mid-block on the west side of Broadway between 35th and 36th St.) at 6:30 sharp, and then walking over together. We will have signs calling out the firms that are doing hundreds of millions of dollars worth of Pro bono work for Trump, and encouraging other lawyers to not collaborate. If you are arriving late, you can go directly to Gotham Hall.

Ed Sullivan Theater (1697 Broadway at 53rd St.)
Colbert Is More Accurate Than 60 Minutes
Join a protest against CBS outside the Ed Sullivan Theater (Colbert is taping that night and people will be lining up to go inside from 4P-5P). We are not protesting Colbert – we are protesting the new CBS ownership and management (Paramount Skydance) that has changed how Trump and the administration are covered, and defanged the political news programs like 60 Minutes. We will have posters and banners for the occaision.

Trump Tower (5th Ave. and 56th St.) – note Fifth Ave. is closed to traffic/open to pedestrians all day…
ICE Out of NYC/No Troops In Our Cities
Our plan is to fill the street (closed to traffic) outside Trump Tower and do some chanting and demonstrating and maybe some singing. Please join us. We will be bringing out a lot of props and posters for this, and are encouraging everyone to join us.
