Next hybrid meeting: Tues., 30 Sept. At an October meeting we will review the effectiveness of hybrid meetings (format, timing, etc.). Hybrid meetings were initiated in December 2024.

○ Promote the Fox challenge: if you know someone who watches Fox exclusively, offer to watch Fox for a week if they watch CNN or MSNBC for a week.
● Tuesdays after Fox leave for law firm crawl in the area 11am–12 noon (Latham Watkins, Paul Weiss, Wilkie)

● Monday, September 1, 2-4 pm. Request for endorsement.
One Fair Wage’s event, “Trump Tower to Fight the TACO”. Join restaurant workers and other workers on Labor Day: Standing up to the National Restaurant Association and its Restaurant Owner in Chief, Donald Trump, who have blocked workers from getting a livable wage with tips on top. We’ll be giving out Tacos since Trump Always Chickens Out. We’ll be asking New York, which side are you on?
● Saturday, September 6, The AFL-CIO Labor Parade is from 10 am to noon. RAR will have a “support action” outside Trump Tower timed for when they march past. Support action themes: No Dictators. Democracy Dies in a Police State. Etc.

○ Thursday 8/28 bus trip to the Newark detention center.
● March on Wall Street. August 28 from African Burial Ground (290 Broadway) to Foley Square. NOTE: this march will end around the same time and place as the RaR Immigration action at 26 Federal Plaza. The Rev. Al Sharpton and the National Action Network will march on Wall Street for economic justice and fair opportunities for all. Learn more.
