If our Nations are able to reclaim 30% of the land and ocean mass, the biodiversity target of 1.5 degrees Celsius is doable. To reach this goal, there must be decisions on equitable distribution of land, careful to preserve the Indigenous people’s way of life! The COP 15 agenda, with an immediate implementation, includes: reduction in pesticides, prevention of 1 million extinctions, reduction & repurposing of Government subsidies by $500 Billion by year 2025, curtailing plastic pollution and invasive species and adding 1 billion hectares (2.47 billion acres) of Nature restoration through re-wilding Globally. An ambitious agenda, who’s agreement will be reached by 12/19/22. 8 Billion people depend on the commitment of our governments to humanity’s survival.

TheVoiceOfJoyce In the Inflation Reduction Act, the Green Bank is established to provide loans to Clean Energy Entrepreneurs. This is a win for society. NY has been successfully lending money for Climate Initiatives since 2014. The Community Solar Program has successfully installed Solar Panels off site reducing residential energy costs. The Green Banks are a win and their lenders are serious conservationists who don’t default on their loans. Their 99.7% track record speaks to their integrity and stewardship of the environment. The Green Bank provides new jobs and new technologies. There’s room for growth!

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce How is it possible, the Tampa Bay Area has more inflation than the rest of the Nation? Food prices up 8.3%, rents doubling? The Middle Class going homeless, lacking childcare, sick days and amidst this tragedy,Le Segundo, a family owned and operated business, provides a lifeline to its 140 employees. The cost of wheat , added $40,000 a month to his overhead, yet Mr More, the owner, managed to maintain his business, National customers and his employees. They have a pension plan, vacation days, sick days and a good salary. His hard work is paying off and he sees prices coming down for wheat. The food pantries, staffed by the Hernandez, husband and wife team, in another part of Tampa, aren’t as lucky. They’ve just been told, their rent will increase from $1500 – $3000 in a few months? What is Florida’s government doing to help their Cuban population, their Middle Class & poorer residents of the Tampa area? Why is Tampa experiencing a greater rate of inflation then the National average? What’s driving Tampa’s excessive inflation? Is it Greed?

TheVoiceOfJoyce The Nuclear Waste for the Manhatten Project was stored on Yakama Indigenous land on the Columbia River in the State of Washington. Nuclear reactors were built there in 1943 and the tribal lands and people were evacuated. For decades they have been returning to their ancestral homes and cleaning up their land and water. Native plants that sustained them still grow. The Indians are entitled to their land. Their work benefits all those getting sustenance along the Columbia River. This is home to sturgeon and salmon. The faster the clean up proceeds, the better for everyone. Now, the Columbia River contains; lead, mercury, nuclear waste, PFAS chemicals. Give the next generation a chance to study engineering and the sciences, to integrate the “ old” ways with new technology and pass on their heritage and connections to the past. The Indigenous Indians have a lot to teach us about conservation!

With Cafe Gozhoo,in Arizona , Apache’s have refund their cooking heritage and a methodology to conquer their addiction. They’re rebuilding their lives and cultivating the land for Community Food. Through patience and relationships they’re rebuilding their lives, overcoming historical and personal traumas!
