Thousands of Virginians could lose health coverage as ACA tax credits near expirationThe tax credits that help more than 300,000 Virginians afford health insurance will expire at the end of this year, unless Congress renews them.

Without these subsidies, premiums could more than double, forcing many in Virginia to drop coverage or change jobs to find employer insurance.

Four renowned landscape architecture firms are finalists to lead the year-long project, which will include significant public input. 

Leaders say the process will balance preservation, community needs and economic growth while keeping Fort Monroe’s history and ecology at its core.
