AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce The effects of the Climate Crisis now on Agriculture. As the planetary weather changes, we’re losing our ability to grow coffee, chiles, mustard, wine, grains, wheat, corn, and chocolate . The Western World will adapt to a bland diet & we’ll learn to engineer our food. However, the growers of crops will be destitute , suffering from erratic drought s and weather extremes. The farmers globally, especially in poorer Nations like Brazil and West Africa , they’ll go hungry. Western Nations may have insurance protection & the prices for food will continue to increase. There are remedies: solar panels over crops to shield them from the Sun. We can’t save Apples from an early frost. We can stop the War in Ukraine, this is unnecessarily increasing our Global dependence on dirty fossil fuels and creating a devastating heat feedback loop. Are we capable of saving ourselves? Can man stop his ambitions for conquest? If not, give Ukrainians the overwhelming firepower they need and end Putin’s War quickly. The World can not afford a War that exacerbates climate change!

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce The War in Ukraine is one sided. Ukrainian rely on Russian Cold War weapons and Russian’s are capable of firing 60,000 rounds in a day. US & NATO weapons are slow to arrive and require training. Since Ukrainian limitations are known, getting them up to speed with upgraded weapons is a priority. Especially, since Putin shows no sign of slowing down. his assault. Yesterday’s attack on the shopping Mall and Kyiv shows the level of brutality endured .

It’s not clear what the impact of climate extremes; drought, floods, cyclones, has on people, poor and middle classes, agriculture, healthcare, productivity and infrastructure. AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce A cornered “rat” or just like Assad of Syria, “we the People”, mean nothing to Putin. He’s incapable of restraint. He’s only concerned with winning at all costs. Reminds me of some Legislators, Corporations and jurists in our Own Country. When 200,000 extra people die because of Covid misinformation, that’s abuse of Power. When you rule on the peoples rights and make them less safe that’s abuse of Power. Sometimes you have to say what you feel and think!

The promised Western weaponry can’t come fast enough for Zelenskiy. He’s got a demoralized population and no homes to return to. The Russians have waged a brutal missile offensive. The World wheat still waits for an opening for delivery. Putin default on Bond payments. What happens now? Let’s hope Zelenskiy can receive his weapons shortly and turn offensive able to negotiate a Peace!
