The Measles vaccine prevents the disease and is effective and in my case, without side effects. It appears that some of us lose immunity after 60-80 yrs to one or more components of the MMR Vaccine. It’s not a big deal to retake the Vaccine. NY State universities won’t admit students with out an active MMR VACCINE & a Meningitis vaccine. Protection from viruses helps you and your community.
