TheVoiceOfJoyce Couldn’t resist another article on Tennessee. The Legislature is closed and reporters will comment on Bills passed. Oddly, buried with the music there’s a mention of Memphis, the site of a need for the 14 th Amendment, folks suffered there and now they’ll lose their one Democratic Congressman? It’s not right. Are we going backwards in time? One positive, There are good intentions to subsidize Teachers, nurses and police with $20 million for housing? It may be a start? The music is great in Nashville and they used AI. You can Listen to their results. People are no longer better off. Starbucks & the Ellison’s are moving there with employee pay cuts. Evidently, teachers, nurses and police need housing subsidies. The others may need them , too! Nashville may no longer be affordable?

TheVoiceOfJoyce With the completion of the Warner Brothers, Discovery merger, the Ellison’s have, CBS, CNN, HBO, Comedy Central and TikTok. The result, wealth and media is concentrated in too few Oligarchs and the results are not good for US. When I asked to boost my Videos on TikTok, not only was I told I don’t qualify, because my content is political, the algorithm suppressed my views? I appealed and finally a few hundred are viewing my content daily. Is it still suppressed? Not sure. The consequences of going against the Ellison’s, is you’ll lose viewership in America. They have too much power and control over our Speech and News. We can stop them, not with Trump President or the Republican’s in Congress. That’s why we need 100% turnout for the midterm elections. We the People must take back control of our government, Rights and economy! We can do it!

The Ellison’s now own CBS, CNN, Comedy Central, TikTok. Their power to censor our speech and news is enormous. Worse, there will be layoffs. Our only recourse is Voting and taking back our Government & Democracy.

TheVoiceOfJoyce Trump’s mood reflects his failing poll numbers and he’s lashing back at us with the help of a partisan Supreme Court. They gutted the Voting Rights Act, saying there’s no need, minorities are represented? The Republican’s immediately pursued gerrymandering their maps to exclude minority candidates, even if voting had started. Clearly Racial discrimination resides in the heart and soul of Republicans! The public will speak and the Public has spoken on several issues: we don’t want the War in Iran, no Arch, No Trump signing money, no tearing down of the East Wing and more affordability! Is Trump going to ignore the will of the People, like most despots or do we unite and reclaim our Democracy?

TheVoiceOfJoyce Are you wondering how high the price of oil would be, if the Straits of Hormuz remained closed for months? Krugman and the IMF wonder and see recession. I wonder and see an opportunity for alternative fuels , infrastructure and farming and pharmaceuticals that don’t use petroleum products. We’d have a healthier and more productive world. Perhaps we should assume the worse, take away Fossil Fuel subsidies, tax Fossil Fuel windfall profits and start to innovate new energy sources and products that are less toxic. It can be done. ArcTeryx is eliminating PFAS from their clothing! It’s a beginning.

Since the 1970’s we’ve been warned against our reliance on Fossil Fuels. Paul Krugman and the IMF are concerned about the Straits of Hormuz being closed and causing a Global Recession. I say, think opportunity, and start utilizing and funding alternative energy sources and products. Stop our dependency and live healthy.
