TheVoiceOfJoyce Taking Cybersecurity seriously. Two factor ID, similar to Banks. Certification of all Software sold to the Government. A cyber security review board to investigate all breaches of security. This board should extend their reach to all critical infrastructure: election equipment, communications, transportation and infrastructure oversight!

TheVoiceOfJoyce Black Americans & minorities who had to work with the public were more at risk from Covid infections. This population also suffered from the greatest number of unemployed. The countries with a wide gap in income inequality saw the most job losses in the under educated. Now many Restaurant owners , quick to lay off workers, want them to return, the dilemma, they have to pay more and offer incentives. Perhaps paid leave for being vaccinated and paid time off for anyone experiencing side effects. Close the income inequality gap!

In NYC , many long term unemployed, would appreciate help from their Legislators navigating the new benefits slotted to them. Where is their procedural help. Where’s new technology to help us build new faster Subway connections, the tunnels between Nyc & NJ? Who’s liking educated employees to Corporations & stopping AI resume discrimination?

The People want fundamental change: Stimulus checks, child care, unemployment insurance benefits fir the long term unemployed, new job creation with Infrastructure. Go it alone , if necessary, and go big. We need millions employed. We need the entire population vaccinated. Access to retraining. We’re losing Healthcare physicians & front line workers to Covid burnout, while many refuse Vaccination. Corporations can insist on Vaccinations for a return to work. RapidTests are a start. If Biden wastes time on an uncooperative GOP, Americans will suffer!

What’s wrong with a taxable income for hedge funds, a tax on airline fuels, investment taxes on incomes over a Million? Derivative transactions tax and removal of Big Farm & Fossil Fuel subsidiaries, unless they go Renewable energy and lower emissions. Taxing the burdened people is not an option!

TheVoiceOfJoyce They’re saying we need major change and we do. The technology exists for light rail and that should take precedence over driverless cars. We need speed & less pollution. That eliminates air travel. We can’t fly international for years. Might as well make it easy for folks to travel to work. Supplement the purchase of electric vehicles and return subsidies to Fossil Fuels that transition to green energy. A win win for Everyone

TheVoiceOfJoyce Air pollution is a major contributor to poor health in minority communities. It’s most prevalent in Fairbanks, Alaska & LA. Fires are depleting our ozone, coupled with other particulate matter , our Nations air is destroyed by shipping ports, weather extremes and Carbon Emissions. Infrastructure, besides fixing our transportation & critical infrastructure, must address Fossil fuel transition , clean air and clean water.

TheVoiceOfJoyce Black Women have been involved for years, trying to obtain clean water and sanitation for millions. Biden’s infrastructure Bill can address this issue , along with clean air. While speaking about infrastructure, there are sections in NYC where the gas has been turned off for a year & Internet service is off equally long. This is the upper west side 80’-90’s . Our Country needs this Stimulus now. New Jobs , retraining and safety nets in place to assure adherence to new standards. Fundamental Change!

TheVoiceOfJoyce The SEIU Union is needed in every Nursing facility in every State. 1.8 million elderly & those associated with Nursing Homes died from Covid. Friends work in facilities where they clean & care for 10 patients, even if they have Covid. Abuse for profit has been happening for years. It’s time for standards of care to be published and enforced. Orthopedic rehabilitation occurs in Nursing facilities , too! It’s tragic. Some facilities don’t have proper dining options and don’t cater to those with systemic diseases. Coupled with Covid, the burden on staff was too great. Nursing Homes require Fundamental Change, Legislation codifying standards of Care. SEIU can show what’s required.
