They’re not providing healthcare, education or decent food to people , who now have little chance to have their case heard. Why are we inhumane? Why are we pepper spraying the NJ Governor and Andy Kim? What are the facilities hiding? Is fending off oversight legal? The rate of employment is decreasing and there are very few empty homes on the Market. We could power our way through deficits by building the 5 million housing units we need.

There should be a progressive tax on all income from $500 up . States might consider making the wealthy pay FICA based on total compensation, thereby contributing to society’s safety net, like the rest of us.

It should be noted, after the Southern Democrats helped Johnson achieve the goals of the Great Society and created 84 Laws solidifying a just society giving us Voting Rights, SS, Medicare & education, science and arts, they became Republicans. The Southern Democrats voted with him to achieve this Great Society and in their hearts they hated the equality they helped create. Many remained in the minority for years. The People liked their new rights and kept Democrats in power for years.
