American workers salaries keep dropping at $22-24,000 per yr , while Corporate CEO salaries have increased to a minimum of $670-1 and $1000-1 . Corporate buy backs directly flow into thevCEO’s pay package. No wonder American Labor is the working poor. Where’s an EO to level the field and stop the monopolies from gaming their workers. When will workers say enough? When will the NLRB change their rules back from 2004 to empower Labor once again. Americans are suffering on every economic front:No food, limited healthcare, poor education and they know it!

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce In a unanimous decision The Supreme Court ruled in favor of the baggage claim handlers, stating they are engaged in inter state commerce and therefore, entitled to bring their claims for overtime pay to Court. This decision works for all employees involved in interstate commerce. They( Uber, Lyft & amazon employees) may bring class action suits against their employer and are not bound by individual arbitration. This a win for Labor. Changing NLRB Laws would be Labor’s objective!

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce Unemployment may be low statistically, I question the #’s, and employees are still underpaid and unable to cope with inflation. The War in Ukraine didn’t cause our problems, Corporate greed is directly to blame. Change the NLRB Labor Laws to promote labor and employees won’t have to rely on Corporate largesse. Many industries need Union clout to increase wages and benefits. The Food pantries are overwhelmed. When is labor paid a living wage? When will they be compensated for their loyalty? When are they treated with respect and dignity? Capitalism before the 1980’s was not as cruel! There has been a systematic overturning of Labor’s Rights.

The Netherlands will reduce greenhouse house gasses and , if the Government fails, these activists will go back to Court. There are currently 68 Lawsuits pending before governments. Great model for activism. Present the facts in Court!

With Corporate profits rising, and Corporate generated Inflation rising , too, a $15 minimum wage will barely suffice. People need a Basic Living Wage and Unionization at every level of work insuring better pay, benefits, safe working conditions and a seat at the Corporate Table! We need a # Clean Slate for Labor. We need a change in the Dept of Labor rules, favoring employees and not owners.
