We need data and information about Long Covid. People are suffering with severe fatigue, cognitive impairment and can’t work. We think 10-15% of the total Covid infected gets Long Covid and it’s symptoms are there for years. Proper treat is not available. More scientific data required.

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce Suicides are #1 cause of death for those between ages 10-34! Suicides are up. There is a tremendous need to reduce frontline workers hours of work. Our nurses and hospital staff are burnt out. There are some non profit counselors available and they’re not sufficient to counsel all in need. The demands of Covid patients has shown us the limitations of the workforce coping with severe illness and death daily. They’re fatigued. The remedy, more support systems for a Society that values profits , over the well being of people!

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce During Covid , the FederalGovernment gave $100 Billion to the States to expand Medicaid. On July 30, the law sunsets. When the automatic enrollment ends , it’s estimated, 5.4-11 million people will lose healthcare. This is an avoidable tragedy. Especially , since Covid isn’t ending this summer. The surge is expected during the fall and winter months. If Corporate tax cuts are permanent, why not make expanded Medicaid permanent and give people at least one safety net?

Their side effects may range from fatigue to memory loss and systemic diseases. Probably this is a good reason to give kids the Vaccine. They’ll be protected from a strong immune response to Covid. It can be attributed to several factors: Republican ideology espoused save Corporate profits rather than employee safety ! Our Nursing homes have been profit only centers for years. 150,000 died in understaffed nursing homes. Clearly, we need to replicate the Federal model for Public health centers in underserved communities. We need a Standard of Care established. We need expanded Medicaid in All States. We can restore trust in Medicine & Science. We must counter all the TrumpsGOP misinformation & anti Vax propaganda!
