TheVoiceOfJoyce The Marshall Project partnered with KFF to investigate the poor treatment of people with mental health problems in Ohio. People with mental health problems are overwhelming the understaffed and inadequate psychiatric hospitals and sometimes, those needing care aren’t lucky enough to be in a hospital and they’re overlooked at the local jails. We have a failed system for treating people with mental illness.
