Instead the politicians used the money for payment of care? Be alert, your frozen blueberries may be on the recall list. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have given money to two Nashville non profits, one is a grocery that is set up as retail shop and free for people.

TheVoiceOfJoyce Interested in our Criminal Justice system? I have been involved for years & have participated in the Less is More Bill, giving paroles more rights to prevent arbitrary recidivism. Here’s a list of books about our Criminal Justice System and what can be. Years ago I watched a documentary on Germany’s system of incarceration and it was humane. Inmates had therapy, educational tools and privacy. Unlike us, we house our prisoners in huge rooms, overcrowded areas and treat them poorly, when they’re merely awaiting trial. Long term prisoners have others punitive measures. Read on. I did include their fund raising program, because this organization does superior work to bring justice and humanity to a cruel system.

TheVoiceOfJoyce We have fought for our Democracy over the course of 250 yrs. Every time a despot raises their head and tries to take away our inalienable rights, we fight back. Trump is trying to destroy our Democracy and we will fight back at the ballot box and overturn his agenda. We hold these truths to be self evident; all men were created equal and our Nation will persevere, giving life once again to all people, so we may pursue liberty, equality and happiness.

TheVoiceOfJoyce We’re going to celebrate the 4 th July our way. Too bad this administration, the Supreme Court and the Tech media bros are in power. Don’t care about the health and well being of we the people. Nor do they care to give us a living wage. Yet Trump believes in spite of his corruption, his attempts to suppress our voting rights, his assaults on US citizens and valued guests, we’re going to celebrate with him at his fair? Sorry, they’ve kicked our Democracy and it still stands. Happy 4 th of July everyone.

TheVoiceOfJoyce The KFF MORNING BRIEFING with health news to report. The Flu and mRNA vaccines are safe and effective. After 200 airmen came down with the Flu, the shots became mandatory. Covid Vaccine for military still not sure? Babies are still dying from contaminated formula. Will anyone in government fine the Lab and make them clean up their plant? If not, why not pursue a class action lawsuit against Abbott Labs, if they’re the culprit? In an effort to speed production of nuclear power plants, they’re loosening safety rules? It didn’t work with the Shoreham plant on LI. It never opened because it leaked radioactivity! There are no short cuts to good manufacturing practices.

TheVoiceOfJoyce Who are the Democratic Socialists? They’re young Democrats out to defeat the big business agenda. I don’t agree with their anti Israel position. I do support rights for workers and Universal Healthcare. I’m giving Mamdani a chance and he’s doing right by providing cooling centers during our heat wave. He’s even making mobile cooling centers available to the public. We’re putting more closes garbage units on streets to stop the rat population and maintain cleanliness. All pragmatic solutions I’ve supported. This is a fledgling movement and they’re preferable to MAGA pro business legislators.
