They would ban ownership of all assault weapons and limit the # of bullets sold. They want background checks and physicals determining mental competence. The list continues with registration and liability for all weapons in someone’s possession. Congress has a clear mandate from “We the People “, will the GOP agree to bipartisan Law in support of the Lives of People. ?

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce Putin is destabilizing European Politics and American politics. The Cold War never ended for Putin. He’s on a personal quest for power. Macron is the only choice for France, yet Putin’s machine has recreated LePen. She speaks differently, but she’s still bought and paid for by Putin. Ditto for Donald Trump, he may say what some want to hear& he, too, is funded by Putin. Trump had no problem hiding the virulence of Covid, weaponizing protection and likely causing extra deaths. The people who staff our restaurants and supply chains were the first to die. Never forget, the takers of Putin’s largesse seek money and power for themselves and not for “We the People “. You want to speak Truth to Power, don’t elect anyone who follows Putin. Putin lives in the feudal past,he seeks conquests , his milk is oil and the people ofRussia and the World be damned.

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce While I was listening to The Economist’s analysis of Putin’s War in Ukraine. Information came over their news wire, two Generals of the FSB were arrested. That’s interesting, because the head of the FSB is part of Putin’s inner circle. Evidently, scapegoats will fall as Putin’s inner circle sees divisions among each other. It should be noted, the FSB is used for targeted Assassination, poisoning dissidents and enforcing the jailing of Protestors. Putin now has the problem, he feared. Cracks in the inner or Cle that can lead to regime change. Additionally, to help ordinary Russian citizens perhaps Visa & Mastercard should remain along with the West’s Social Media Platforms. The West needs Russians to know the truth about Putin’s War. The Russian peopke are already hearing bad news from the front, some of their kids are not coming home and the ones who have defected, tell a different tale about Putin’s War. They’ve experienced Ukrainian Nationalism and Ukrainian Genocide by Putin.

TheVoiceOfJoyce Prison Gerrymandering is worse than you think! If prisoners are counted as citizens of the rural areas where they are incarcerated, these areas get greater representation in Congress. No wonder States are loathe to pass prison reforms. Whoever incarcerates the most, gets more money. Hence, our harsh treatment of prisoners, our rates of recidivism, all designed to maintain a balance of power and crush Human rights, a person’s dignity and justice. It’s absurd. Prisoners, if they’re lucky will go back to their home states. Those states have no money for them? We’ve created our own dilemma. Prisoners should be counted as citizens of their original states unless they declare in writing, they’ll reside in their state of incarceration. Further, politics has now become an incentive to treat prisoners in humanely. They’re only bodies to be counted. This explains our Prison system. It’s designed to be harsh, when Decency Pays. Only changing these Laws, will change racial inequality and racial justice.
