Now he’s spearheading a Covid Accelerator to speed the understanding for the virus. We need Large scale Mational work on prevention of future Pandemics. We can’t afford not to test a population for viral contagion, not can we be isolated from the Global Community. We can learn from each other. Test, trace the spread, use protective gear & plan for a future that can’t respond adequately to just in time methodologies. We need Prevention and that takes allocation of funding to the CDC , pharmaceuticals, & testing labs. A healthy population is most productive.

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce Germany followed the South Korea model early. By mid January they had testing available & published their testing model on line! Why didn’t everyone follow it? When first patients showed symptoms they tested extensively. They’re able to test 350,000 a day and they immediately employed social distancing, which everyone followed. The results, they have 1.1 percent deaths vs the rest of World. Being ahead of the curve paid off in saving lives.

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce Trumps estimate of fatalities from Covid 19 not based on scenarios provided by CDC. No one is sure of the # of deaths expected , it depends on many variable. There are now two real life models that eill provide answers on Covid 19 spread & contagion patterns. One in Germany and the other is Iceland. Both of these centers have a population between 250,000-330,000 giving us a real understanding of Covid 19. The entire population to be tested for scientific research.
