TheVoiceOfJoyce Healthcare is in crisis here, the Uk and the EU. Low salaries, understaffing, medical deserts, less GP’s entering the work force are creating a healthcare disaster . In GB, nurses are prepared to walk out. 100,000’s are needed for work and remain out of the workforce of most western nations. WHO is looking at European health system collapse. The US is also facing severe nursing shortages and long lines are occurring. As Covid cases continue to rise, will we be putting off other treatments? Better to address the issues now. In America, we need standards of care, a ratio of patient to healthcare professional staffing. Based on our populations need for more wellness and stress visits, more Dr’s and other healthcare professionals are needed. Can we pay more, educate and train more Dr’s and nurses and limit the role of insurance companies in our decision making? Healthcare for profit, is not working.

The Pharmaceutical Industry hasn’t created break through products, because they’re making huge profits by advertising to the Public. Stop the advertising and their money can be used for R&D and lowering their costs to us. The insurance industry is linked to healthcare, their for profit model and reams of paperwork, benefits them and not the hospital or the patient. Third, there are too few physicians in America by design. Our Country lags behind other Nations in quality of care, costs and a decrease in mortality. When does healthcare change to serve the needs of “We the People”? Who is doing a well health assessment of you? When will we adapt standards of care guaranteeing a ratio of healthcare providers to consumers? Our quality of life is important. Good health makes it possible to pursue our dreams!

HIPPA Laws don’t apply to the Internet. Our behavior is tracked by Facebook and Google, every time we search. Our searches, identify us , the information is sold to 3 rd Parties and they can use it , as they wish. Our employers can see our searches and data, insurers, credit card grantors or law enforcement. Apple products are less invasive, we can click the “ do not track “ option. However, our internet providers are using the same business model as Social Media Platforms and they , too, are harvesting information on us and selling it for profit. The Solution, redefining Section 230 of the FTC Law granting Internet Companies absolute control over our data. Write new Laws and amend Section 230, to protect our Medical Privacy and all other personal information, we don’t want shared. If there is no Legislative will, vote those Legislators who obstruct our Freedoms , out of office. A Presidential Executive Order will help. Pro Bono litigators will help to protect our Rights. None of these actions are a substitute for Legislative Law to protect our Rights Nationally.

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce Suicides are #1 cause of death for those between ages 10-34! Suicides are up. There is a tremendous need to reduce frontline workers hours of work. Our nurses and hospital staff are burnt out. There are some non profit counselors available and they’re not sufficient to counsel all in need. The demands of Covid patients has shown us the limitations of the workforce coping with severe illness and death daily. They’re fatigued. The remedy, more support systems for a Society that values profits , over the well being of people!

While casting around for an Independent Center, at least 6 States are codifying Laws to protect women and the physician who treat them. Giving care is a National responsibility.
