The Wagner group is being scaled back and Prigozhin’s influence is waning. The EU is stepping up its commitment to arm the Ukraine and will bolster its investment to defense to 2% of GDP. Vital technology to Russia is being stopped and so is aid to Iran. With 40% of their tanks gone, Russian troops on the ground have a disadvantage. There’s talk, that the bridge around Bakhmut has been blown to prevent Russian advances. Day 357, perhaps we should no longer be counting and continue to follow what’s happening in Ukraine and to Ukrainians, as they fight valiantly to reinstate Ukrainian sovereignty.

TheVoiceOfJoyce UN Secretary General in Brussels is urging Ukrainians allies to speed up production of ammunition and all weapons and planes requested. He has assured everyone, Russia is gearing up for a more intensive invasion. Why not give Zelensky the planes he requested? Perhaps he can destroy ammunition depots and missile silos? Why not hobble Putin’s ability to destroy Ukraine’s critical infrastructure? Bakhmut has not been encircled and the War will move on to Ukraine’s other territories. The Ports are problematic, the mines may have broken loose making navigation more difficult? We’ll see soon enough where phase two of Putin’s War on Ukraine. With their intelligence and understanding of their terrain, I’m betting on the Ukrainians. They’re counteroffensive must be effective to free them, Moldova and any other country, Putin might claim.

It’s not just the Wagner Group losing. Russian soldiers are taking a big hit. They’re using a lot of ammunition and tanks. Zelensky may be right, with the right weapons, Russia would be defeated in the Donbas region. Russia may have lost the entire 155 th Naval Infantry in Vuhledar. To Putin, everyone is expendable. To win, Putin’s plans to overthrow the Moldovan government were recently intercepted, yet, Belarus and Hungry are appearing to join him. Day 355 and war is hell and in flux, that’s war. Speculations without knowledge, are speculation, I will continue with only the facts, as we know them and wish the Ukrainian people success in ridding their Country of Putin’s war machine.

Infrastructure has been restored to cities in the Ukraine. Rail lines have been cut off between key cities and Russia is building a water pipeline into the Donbas region. Premature? This is day 355 and the EU & NATO are committed to Ukraine’s sovereignty. Let’s hope the new weapons and Ukrainian resolve create an impressive Counteroffensive, ceasefire and withdrawal.
