TheVoiceOfJoyce In the wee hours Trump’s Senate Republicans passed $70 Billion extra for ICE &CBP. They’re keeping citizens detained in terrible conditions and not allowing Congressional representatives or the Governor from going into detention facilities, as is their right. Immigration under Trump has been a death sentence for 30/year. Why? Because they hate people of brown and black skin. If Trump and his Republican Legislators believe in their innate superiority, they shouldn’t represent our Government. These United States have thrived by accepting Immigrants from 165 Countries. The good news, reconciliation budgets can be amended under a functioning Congress with Representatives of the People . Incidentally, Trump kept his immunity from Tax evasion prosecution!

TheVoiceOfJoyce I know from personal experience, North Carolina, needs better representation for minorities. My friend, an African American woman, was just told she was no longer registered. It took weeks to get a case # and supply the documents needed for reinstatement on the voting rolls. North Carolina is notorious for making voting difficult. They need a change in Legislators responsive to the needs of all constituents. Consider voting for Chuck Hubbard.

Save a woman’s life and be tolerant and non judgmental. Ditto for all the fuss about Transgender people. There are 3 million folks in America who are transgender. It’s a 45 day trial. The Council is justified in their anger. They’re about to celebrate our 250 th Anniversary from the perspective of all involved in 1776. The indigenous peoples, the settlers and the enslaved. What is your Community doing to celebrate our 250 th Anniversary of our Democracy?
