AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce Taxing the .01% is the right idea. Use an asset tax of 5%. Convert Hedge Fund 20% fees to ordinary income or their fees are deferred? Then Americans will have more income for a Social Safety Net. Close tax loopholes. Add a 6% tax on Derivative trades ( every $100 bundled) Government would collect almost $1 Trillion a year and take risk out of the Market. Increase the Corporate tax rate to 28% and add more money to fund new innovations and decrease Corporate influence. Don’t stop at taxing the ultra wealthy, start reduction of Oil and Big Farm Subsidies & create good Renewable jobs. Take all Corporate influence out of Government and let’s fund new business for the 21 st Century.

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce The poor , in rural and urban communities, are more likely to get Covid and die. It doesn’t matter , if you’re poor white in West Virginia or poor Black and Brown minorities in Harlem, your chances of sieving Covid are 50% less than that of the General Population. Covid has indiscriminately effected everyone, however, the poor were especially targeted because in most cases they lacked access to healthcare as well. Frontline workers, never got time off? As America approaches 1 million deaths from Covid. We should be reviewing our Social Safety Net and our ability to apply healthcare to everyone and human benefits of time off for sickness. Every life is precious. Make sure , while we send Vaccines, abroad, we have enough for kids and others in our own population. A healthy society, is a productive society.

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce Managers bring value to the Corporation. Through their guidance, teams of workers excel to produce good outcomes for the company and the customer. Why then, have so many companies fired Middle Managers? Why do they discriminate against them, using ageism or gender as a reason for not hiring. Deep Water Horizon was a lack of good management. More recently patients died in UK hospital for lack of good management skills and culture. It’s time to rehire talent for all Corporations, allowing us to be prepared for the Corporate challenges on the horizon.

Many who live in Rural areas have several old cars, so one is always running.Americans have cited poor transportation as a reason for not getting to work. Now no one can get out to purchase groceries, go to restaurants. The price of gas is too high. This inflation started before the War between Putin and Ukraine. It started with all inflationary pricing, caused by greedy monopolies. America’s dependence on oil & autos is 100+yrs old. California roads were to be RR’s , that didn’t happen with pressure from Exxon and the automotive industry. Now we need convenient public transportation. When will government take this opportunity to go trains and electric buses. Innovation starts now! Advocacy starts now. It’s necessary to shape a World for the 21 st Century. A world where we live and breathe clean air. Change your Legislative bodies on the local and state levels. Don’t accept big government that doesn’t support “we the People “!

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce Inflation has been with us for 6-9 months. Wages for the Lower & Middle Classes have not kept up with inflation/cost of living. When families have to skip meals or medications, America has a humanitarian crisis. Our cities are not being bombed and many Americans, 1450/day are dying from Covid. Our Infrastructure is inadequate. Our kids require medial studies. Women are not re entering the work place because they Lack adequate childcare and they lack transportation. For the Families Act is still a requirement. We pledged $12 Billion for the Ukrainians and that is humane. Why not be equally humane to our fellow Countryman? Don’t leave any child behind. We need strong well educated citizens to thrive in the 21 st Century. Pass for the Families Act and Stop greedy monopolies from increasing prices, because they lack competition. Write your Congressional representative and let them know you’re desperate for price relief and just wages. The poor and Middle Classes need government intervention, too!
