TheVoiceOfJoyce Nashville is a thriving community and when they see injustice, they enlisted ProPublica to help them change a Law. The Law focused on kids jockeying around , some disabled, saying there was a bomb in there back pack. Kids, as young as 6, were charged with a felony. Now, there must be a credible threat. Other issues concern Nashville, too! They’re getting $1 Billion for rural health services and they’re skeptical. They’re also getting Bitcoin mining and they have every right to be skeptical and fight their arrival. More pollution and higher energy costs. What are your towns experiencing? Also, it’s been 72 days and FEMA payments haven’t arrived. Are you in a similar situation?

Nashville is like other towns. Slow to get FEMA money, concerned about Data Center Building, Needing Rural Healthcare and worried enough about “bad” Laws, to change them.

TheVoiceOfJoyce Because Orban was subservient to Putin and equally corrupt, the Hungarian people rejected his far right rule and elected to join the EU. All flawed Democracies looked on and counted the days, till they would also vote out the corrupt bigoted far Right politicians. There is renewed hope, flirting with authoritarianism is unacceptable. In our own Country, Trump’s policies are inflationary and his ill conceived War with Iran is inflationary and will cost the consumers higher prices. We have low crime in America and based on Trump’s latest posts, he’s too busy promoting himself to care about Americans. It is time to remove him with the 25 th Amendment, before he does more damage to our country. Affordability is problematic and erratic hotter weather is a by product of War and carbon emissions.

After a year of Trump the World is repudiating his policies. Victor Orban was defeated by a large margin. Unfortunately, with Trump in the White House, we have higher inflation, an affordability problem and long term unemployment, plus infectious diseases cured are returning. We’re at stasis and the unemployment rate remains unchanged. Only a boom in job growth will save our economy. We need a boom in infrastructure, transportation, science and technology and we’re stuck with a no growth economy. We’re making the same products made 15 yrs ago . There’s innovation in AI and while we’ll need more cybersecurity, jobs will be lost and not created. The cure? A new administration that doesn’t believe in perpetual war and values human rights, progress and Democracy. We can build our way into prosperity. Not with Trump and the Republicans supporting him.
