AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce Food insecurity continues for the poor. Now it’s worse as people shelter in place, food must be delivered to them. Many have no cars and locally price gouging is increasing their misery. We have a food supply chain problem & it has to be remedied before people in America die of hunger. Just in time thinking, doesn’t help the people. Remember, this will happen again & all people should be food secure, healthy& educated! Where’s Mississippi’s Governor ? Mayors need assistance & resources to be effective.

If they’re contractors, this is the time for them to Unionize for benefits and seats on Corporate boards. Restaurant workers should also organize for fair equitable treatment.

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce $4500 per person for 154 Million is proposed as a Bailout for the Middle & Lower Classes. That’s $700 Billion! Give it in one lump sum. For stimulus to be effective and relieve debt, disease and stress, give the money all at once or its like giving nothing. Do not Bailout Major Corporations, especially Marriott, who’s letting go of employees without paid leave. Support Main Street and the money will circulate.

Hotels & restaurant workers will lose wages and require the same medical & paid sick leave package quarantined to W2’s. QE for Middle & Lower Classes would be worthwhile for those struggling, working or not, young & old. $5000 to 154 million Americans costs $770 Billion and is a true Stimulus package. No more tax cuts and money to sectors when so many will suffer.

Now that we’re in a 2 Nd Gilded Age, it’s appropriate to restore rights to Labor once again. Paid sick leave for 14 days is responsible & SavesLives. There’s no excuse, especially when Corporations have never before profited so much from Federal Policy. After giving paid sick leave to your employees, consider a minimum wage. Labor should use this time to organize and form retail, fast food, hotel, & restaurant unions. It is time for a Clean Slate for Labor.
