AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce Going back to work in some “Red” states offers Workers no choice. If they don’t return to work , they lose their benefits . Many worry they’ll get sick & infect loved ones. It doesn’t have to be an either or situation. We can be doing massive State programs to benefit all people. Making sure their employees are tested , along with their customers. Insuring masks, gloves and social distancing are practiced by all. Why would you vote for a Government that puts your life & the life of loved ones in danger? There are other ways to reopen safely. This Federal Government, under Trump, failed everyone.

We should be all thinking about ways to help them survive & thrive. Glad Minuchin did not let these egregious acts go unnoticed. Harvard should return their money too! Community Colleges & other educational facilities need those funds more! $1Billion, of Harvard’s $38 Billion endowment, could pay $50,000 tuition for 22,000 students.

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce California studied the models predicting mortality rates and sheltered in place early. The results are dramatically reduced from the models estimates. Only wide scale testing or testing of essential workers as they phase back into society can keep the infection and mortality rates low! Noting: some tests may only have 60% accuracy. There will be contagion spikes , if States hastily reopen. They also need PPE’s and social distancing, at all times.

They fear becoming ill & losing more income . Also , they fear a Global Recession & rate it most important and healthcare benefits are a secondary concern.
