1. Meet the Press, Mayor Bloomberg stated that no reasonable person requires an assault weapon. Most Hunters would agree. THEY LIKE SPORT HUNTING, THEY DON’t want an unfair advantage. ASSAULT WEAPONS PROVIDE NO SENSE OF SPORT, THERE’s ONLY MURDER! Do we want to support a culture of Murder, is this what our society wants?
2. If we care about our children and our children’s children , why not show concern for our neighbors? If you see something odd In a child’s behavior, or anyone’s behavior say something. It’s not only about protecting ourselves from terrorists’ packages; it should be about caring for each other. If you see something, say something. In this society, I’m not convinced that everyone needs an arsenal of weapons in their closet. Logically, we are not supporting 2 nd Amendment Rights, we are supporting gun manufacturers. Isn’t it past time to stop our cycle of violence and death? How can we condemn other Countries and their culture of death when we advocate death in our own country?
3. I keep listening to the need for more regulation and that’s necessary and commendable, but it’s not all that’s necessary. IN MY HUMBLE OPINION, WE NEED TO GO BACK TO A SAFER TIME, WHEN MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY CARED ABOUT EACH OTHER. WE LOOKED AFTER OUR NEIGHBOR’S CHILDREN AND OUR NEIGHBORS. WE STILL HAVE THAT CAPACITY TO CARE AND FEEL, AS HILLARY SAID, “IT TAKES A VILLAGE”.
4. LOL On the Sunday talk shows Former Secy of Education , Bill Bennett, thought schools should consider arming employees to prevent attacks. Let’s hope those employees are always happy and don’t ever have a grudge. Also, they’ve got to be psychologically aware to recognize danger whenever and how ever it’s presented. Tough assignment. This is a zero sum game, the only winners are the gun manufactures and sellers!
