Odd, Hamas wasn’t the ruling class of Gaza. There are upper educated Palestinians and there are corrupt Palestinians living in villas, yet they stand by and let 50% of their population live in poverty and refugee camps. Some Palestinians predated Gaza. Like some Israelis, they worked the land before it became a state.
