Saving Democracy
Every time I think it’s possible for Donald Trump to win a 2nd term, I cringe. I’m no proponent of authoritarianism or repressive government. I am also not keen on Donald Trump’s competition, Nikki Haley or Ron DeSantis. They’re Trump in different packaging!
I’m for saving our Democracy and that’s why I’m proposing a 3rd Party once again. I’ve figured out how it can work on the cheap. Costing millions and not Billions.
The good news this week:
The Senate passed an $886 Billion defense budget.
COP28 said Fossil Fuels must be phased out. They didn’t codify a cap on Methane gas. However, it’s a start to decrease toxic emissions now at 440 ppm.
A gold star goes to those Michiganians once again. They’ve improved their citizens rights to vote, instituted gun controls and now they’re going to eliminate Juvenile detention. You can do so much with Citizen Initiated Ballots. Coming from NY State, I’m envious
