Trump’s 30 yrs of Russian Connections , written in The Financial Times on 12/13/16, just became 40 yrs of Russian Connections. It is a dreadful choice for Foreign Policy and one that will hurt American power in the World.
We will embolden China and Russia is now free to hack our systems and bring down American Society, because it’s what they always wanted. Russia has sowed chaos in our Country and will continue to do so. Too bad we don’t have patriots in Congress ready to stop Russian aggression and Trump’s, Vance & Musk’s destruction of our Institutions, way of life, economy and our foreign policy status quo. I, for one, enjoyed the world order we led.

There was a logic to what happened yesterday, but it was the logic of throwing away all reason, yielding to all impulse, betraying all decency, and embracing the worst in oneself on order to bring out the worst in the world. Perhaps Musk, Trump, and Vance will personally feel better amidst American decline, Russian violence, and global chaos. Perhaps they will find it profitable. This is not much consolation for the rest of us.
