I’ve got 3 reasons for dismay and 3 for hope! 1. Our ethics and morals have deteriorated since Eisenhower dismissed Sherman Adams for accepting a Vicuña coat. Trump asks $5 million to see him. 2. The tariffs are bad for business and bad for people and our Economy. 3. When China wonders, is Trump like Mao, we should be concerned. Our Universities must ban together and oppose Trump. Luckily, we have an active Judiciary. Why hopeful? 1. Susan Crawford was elected Supreme Court Judge in Wisconsin, in spite of Musk’s millions. 2. The Margins voting for Trump are narrowing. We saw it in the Special Elections held 4/1 in Florida. 3. Trumps likability is decreasing. Do we want to replicate Mao’s Cultural revolution?
