The Supreme Court doesn’t think the Voting Rights Act of 1965 is necessary? Really? That Law was passed with the blood of our people, united to fight discrimination.
Racial discrimination hasn’t gone away just because the Court says it has! As I’m writing, States are considering eliminating minority districts and Gerrymandering wars are beginning.
It’s enough. We have a rogue Court and the majority of us aren’t happy. Especially when the Shadow Docket doesn’t give us valid legal reasons for their decisions. How can they overturn the Constitution, without a legal reason or a majority of the Congress?
