TheVoiceOfJoyce Amazon’s actions though egregious, may be legal under the new Guidelines. The NLRB wrote Laws supporting Unions, they were changed under Reagan & Bush to support the Corporation, not the employees. The Remedy, rewrite the Laws favoring the Right to UnionOrganization & workplace policies. All voting should be secret and off site. No employee intimidation allowed !

TheVoiceOfJoyce When remembering FDR, remember he ask to include all people in the New Deal. He wanted to help the majority and he wouldn’t stop till they got what they needed. The WPA provided jobs for 15% of the population. He upheld Democracy, flawed as it was , as the best system of government. He developed the NLRB to to create Labor Laws that gave labor higher wages & bargaining power till they were progressively weakened under Reagan & Bush. We need those Laws today. Fundamental change!

TheVoiceOfJoyce Now that many Billionaires want to give back to society, Governments should encourage a progressive wealth tax on estates of $50 million and up. Starting at 2%at $50 million. Total assets taxed according to Piketty, the French Evonomist ( he’d tax 5-7% of total assets) Warren would start at 2%, the IMF concurs !

The even took $30 million in PPP money meant for small businesses. They’re due to sunset in 15 yrs. it may be sooner, if Americans & the planet are to survive Carbon and Methane emissions. The new Infrastructure bill will add clean energy jobs. Think Electric and public transportation. We’re entering a new age!

TheVoiceOfJoyce The Trump tax cut enabled CEO’s to increase their salaries, while workers wages stagnated or ended with the Pandemic. Most corporations added an extra 10-18% to their bottom line and no tax loopholes were closed. 28% is a reasonable amount of tax to pay , along with tax loopholes, that encourage off shoring work. American workers need a raise and a stake in management decisions. When taxation was at 91% for the Uber wealthy our Country was most productive, profitable& people earned more. We had a solid Middle Class. Let’s resurrect them now! Give us New jobs and new industries !
