TheVoiceOfJoyce The COP 15 inks a deal to protect 30% of Earth’s land and sea mass. The US, Vatican sat on the sidelines and Brazil, and some African Nations were opposed because their is no monetary funding to protect their lands. The agreement is open ended allowing each country to define their plan to save their resources and promote biodiversity. This deal, which has not been followed for a decade, comes when scientists are warning humans are starting to cause the 6 th mass extinction. Our insect population is dying, our fish are dying and plants are withering before harvest. Earth is in crisis and leadership is lacking globally to restore our resources, now? When will politicians realize we need smart plans to live and live well? We can plan for a future without toxic fertilizers, encourage heritage farming and new clean energy production.

TheVoiceOfJoyce There is no more time for fir trees in Oregon to adapt to climate warming. The drought has made .1 million of acres of fir forests disappear. The tree are dying and new insect infestations have moved in. Fir forests, under prolonged drought conditions can not be replanted. Prescribed forest burns may be necessary to save other trees from the devastation to follow. Clearly, climate change is effecting America and can no longer be ignored. The quicker we recognize our problems, the quicker we can mitigate and adapt. How much biodiversity must be lost, before we realize we need an expeditious program to tackle species loss?

TheVoiceOfJoyce Fusion Technology is looking feasible. The Financial Times reported Sunday, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories has used a new methodology to release fusion clean energy. The system works without magnets and smashes atoms together to create energy. Massive amounts of energy can be released by fusion technology, enough to power our Country and the Planet. So many can be lifted out of poverty with this technology; lights, clean water, heat. All using clean energy. Government money and private money is pouring into fusion technology. The official announcement is scheduled for Tuesday with Secretary of Energy, Granholm .

TheVoiceOfJoyce The COP27 is meeting and hearing the truth about the worsening of our Planet’s resource safety with uncontrolled Carbon and methane emissions from oil and gas production facilities. The 50 largest emitters are failing to track their emissions. Yet, it’s proven, they could save money and our Planet by plugging their leaks. Exxon Mobil, has been singled out for War crimes, because they knowingly knew the effects of Carbon and methane emissions and denied this reality. Now , the World will struggle to maintain ice caps on the Poles, our resources are dwindling and the Planet may heat beyond 1.5 degrees Celsius. There’s much we can do immediately with the political will. Increase renewable energy, reforest, use graphene in cement production, eliminate coal production, go to hydrogen production of steel, increase mangrove forests and decrease agricultural pollution. All these methodologies exist today and can be implemented immediately. Stop procrastinating and start work and boost our economic growth for the many.

TheVoiceOfJoyce Why are scientists wasting time studying a person’s body weight in order to conclude there’s a correlation between body weight and our Carbon footprint. It’s absurd. Rather then weaponizing peoples food choices and body types, scientific time would be better spent devising methodologies to remove toxins from our water and food and creating a substitute for King Corn. Marginalized people, people requiring inexpensive food, need nutritious food not cheap processed food laced with non nutritious ingredients. Give poor people and the middle classes inexpensive vegetables and fruits and they’ll change their diet. Meanwhile, fight climate change on a large scale, focus on agriculture and bringing back heritage grains.
