AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce Australian’s facing a National Security threat by waning ability to produce its own food. The shortages are directly related to the War in Ukraine and drought and flooding. One Planet and we’re all affected by Climate Disasters. The UN worries about our Oceans and we’re responsible for voting in policies that have led to our problems! Be proactive now to secure our future!

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce The effects of the Climate Crisis now on Agriculture. As the planetary weather changes, we’re losing our ability to grow coffee, chiles, mustard, wine, grains, wheat, corn, and chocolate . The Western World will adapt to a bland diet & we’ll learn to engineer our food. However, the growers of crops will be destitute , suffering from erratic drought s and weather extremes. The farmers globally, especially in poorer Nations like Brazil and West Africa , they’ll go hungry. Western Nations may have insurance protection & the prices for food will continue to increase. There are remedies: solar panels over crops to shield them from the Sun. We can’t save Apples from an early frost. We can stop the War in Ukraine, this is unnecessarily increasing our Global dependence on dirty fossil fuels and creating a devastating heat feedback loop. Are we capable of saving ourselves? Can man stop his ambitions for conquest? If not, give Ukrainians the overwhelming firepower they need and end Putin’s War quickly. The World can not afford a War that exacerbates climate change!

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce Re wilding of the Galapagos has started . They’re getting rid of invasive species and reintroducing native species to encourage a Savannah ecosystem. Restoring the Galapagos has the added benefits of more tourism and a healthy ocean. Other Native populations throughout Latin And South America , Australia are reclaiming their land. Reintroducing predators that encourage small mammal development and contain forest fires. Man and nature living in harmony. Moving forward together with what works. Giving Indigenous people renewed purpose in preserving all life!

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce End Corporate extortion no subsidies unless American workers get to design and produce chips for the American market. Otherwise, Corporations belong to no Nation and are sovereign powers working for themselves. Like Exxon claiming they’re not a US Corporations & the follow policy beneficial to the US! Why give them subsidies? The American people need better wages and relief from Corporate Greed

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce Good Workers Transportation Bill for air line workers specifically, will raise their minimum wage to $15/hr, give them benefits and insurance. All this to help air lines. Why can’t the government lift all wages to $15 min and increase labors participation everywhere?

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce As the Planet heats more complex Climate Catastrophes are you be expected simultaneously. Lack of water, drought, flooding and fires, creating their own system of warming. There’s a way forward with conservation and capping fossil fuels usage. We’re running out of time and must pivot to integrating renewable energy now. These are still early days in our new climate catastrophic cycle.

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce Maui during the Pandemic suffered a loss in tourism & food insufficiency. One a fertile land with Biodiversity, Big Agra ( Bayer & Monsanto) have destroyed the land with pesticides. The indigenous people are reclaiming their land several acres at a time. The colonists destroyed the land with monocultures, while Maui grew ,before Colonialism, a rich diversity of fruits and vegetables, under a giant canopy of products. Their land was rich and their rain forests thriving. Hawaii can be food sufficient again and Hawaiians healthier with their Native Diet.

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce India suffering under 100 degree heat wave. Modi calls for International Climate Change Funding. He’s right there should be a monetary fund for all Nations. Those who are wealthier can and should take the first steps in eliminating Coal and Fossil Fuels from their Countries while integrating Solar Energy and encouraging Hydrogen and clean nuclear power technology. Together we can change our World.

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce The Country is heading for heat waves that will feel 5-15 degrees hotter due to the humidity. This is a heat dome, caused by us, & our use of Fossil Fuels. Whether we deny climate change or not, it’s too darn hot for most of us from the West to the South to the NE and back. Be careful, stay hydrated and seek cooling shelter. Remember, climate change is not linear, our heating planet can accelerate Climate Crisis. This is an unknown!

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce Bio fuels. Charts and usage of essential grains don’t need to be incorporated into Biofuels. It’s wasteful. 10 years ago The Technion , in Israel, developed biofuels from Canola plants using 2/3 rds less water. Canola Plants don’t compete with other food crops and can be grown in the desert. Try something new and don’t let people starve. With Canola, we have enough grains to feed our planet and power our cars. The FT link can be opened 3 x’s by non FT subscribers.
