A person who is able to respect & love his or herself, can than care or love others. In Judaism it’s the equivalent of “love thy self, so you can love others and be able to love and help others. It is living “Torah “ in everyday life. It’s Foundation, leads to “love thy neighbor, as you would yourself.” Teaching inner strength and then connection to others , allows us all to thrive .

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce The graduate assistants working on their PHD’s can’t afford rent if they take home $2100/month& rent costs $1900/month. How can they live. Rent should not exceed more than one weeks pay! That was the old rule for affordability. Have a heart and readjust for an inflated market. You can’t replace good educators !

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce This happened in 2008. The poor & homeless helped to evict those soon to be homeless. Meanwhile, the Corporations are making big bucks till the Economy collapses again. Before it was homeowners, now the same Corporations that owned the mortgages are now renting these properties. Big fees to be made as people become homeless, lose jobs & develop Diseases of Despair. When will we learn to stop the cycle of poverty ? We Need better pay & Regulation of Evictions

We are causing suffering, when we can alleviate poverty and provide cost savings to the Community. There ought to be a Law controlling Landlord greed with guidelines ,procedures and due process . #BlackLivesMatter
