TheVoiceOfJoyce Norway’s sovereign fund, empowered by the Norwegian government and people, are cracking down on Corporations in their $13 Trillion ( approximately) portfolio. They will force the re election of 80 Boards for non compliance with environmental goals. Additionally, the Sovereign Fund will request a written plan for every corporation, showing their path to Zero carbon emissions. The Norwegian Sovereign Wealth Fund got its money by taxing oil and gas producers, licensing fees for extraction and by Nationalizing Equinor, enabling the Fund to collect its dividends and interests. With so much cash at their disposal, Norway is stepping up help to the Ukrainian people, too!

Ukrainian Allies, including Canada ,are sending weapons to Ukraine to ensure an effective and decisive counteroffensive. Ukraine can’t lose this War. They fight for every democracy and their victory will be a deterrent to all those Nations with imperialist notions. Our World is small and interconnected. This is a city of 150,000 mainly Black residents and the Republican legislature voted down funds to fix the pipes bringing water to Jackson residents. The Federal Government provided $600 million for the project, in December. It’s anticipated that FEMA will begin work shortly. Since 4 members of the Mississippi delegation voted against the Jackson Water Supply Funding, who represents poor Black Americans in their State? Why aren’t all citizens of Mississippi entitled to water?

TheVoiceOfJoyce Weather extremes are the norm. The 4-5 inches of rain in the Sacramento area comes amidst a drought. The earthquakes felt before the New Year occurred in the Rio Del region. All these weather disturbances are an introduction to 2023 weather patterns. Unless we decrease fracking, mining and Fossil Fuel emissions of all types, expect the California weather patterns to become more extreme. There is a direct correlation between Carbon and methane emissions and weather extremes. If we don’t want useless land, all Fossil Fuel emissions have to decline. The destruction from weather extremes outweighs the benefits of Fossil Fuel usage.

Dr. Otto is working to lessen the damage caused by planet warming by lessening the impact of the weather. If people have an early warning system they can can prepare for extreme flooding or heat. Meanwhile, Russian troops are being given the opportunity to surrender to drones or be wiped out. A gas pipeline was destroyed connecting to Ukraine. Battles continue to rage and Zelensky, is due to land in America to visit President Biden and speak before Congress. This is the first time Zelensky has left his homeland since War started. The Lawsuit argues that Fossil Fuel organization knowingly conspired against consumers to keep Fossil Fuel sales high and profitable. They also allege, the GCC was a propaganda machine designed to oppose the Kyoto protocol. The Fossil Fuel industry intentions are documented and date back to 1989. This is the latest in a wave of Class Action Lawsuits brought by municipalities, towns and cities , against Corporations accused of causing harm to residents. Puerto Ricans are fighting back to force a settlement to help them survive the effects of greenhouse emissions on their Island. The Island never recovered from the effects of Hurricane Maria . Puerto Rico continues to suffer from climate warming and the island’s devastation.
