TheVoiceOfJoyce Day 234 and the IMF, World Bank and Janet Yellen have requested Putin stop his War of aggression. The world economy is destabilized by this War, many are suffering food insecurity and hunger and our climate continues to warm as a Fossil Fuel Oligarch, exercises his right to aggression. Colonialism is still active in Putin’s mind. Negotiations are not reaching acceptable terms for the Ukrainian people. Russian forces treating are leaving Land mines and trip wires everywhere. Fields and woods are littered with mines. In a last ditch effort, Russia has armed Belarus planes with nuclear weapons. Russia may carry nuclear tipped missiles, as well. The Counteroffensive continues. Ukraine can’t stop until a viable cease fire is in place. Too bad for our World, that one person with an army and a passion for conquest can hold the entire World hostage. The sad facts, this Ukrainian War effects everyone.

With the Russian army spread thin, retaking territory by the Ukrainian counteroffensive is steady. Meanwhile, in its haste to fire missiles, Russia is bombing their own border town? The Crimea land bridge destroyed by Ukraine will take to next July to repair, says Putin. Don’t hold your breath, the War , we hope will end this winter. Like all events , weather patterns, will warm and become extreme . We’ve seen the recent effects of Hurricane Ian in Florida and the flooding in Pakistan. The World has been warned. Annexation of the 4 provinces has been condemned by the UN. The Russian missiles that struck 40 cities, disabled their energy infrastructure temporarily. The facilities are back on line. Many young people are returning to towns and villages devastated by Russian occupation and helping the Communities rebuild. Erdogan continues to make deals with Putin for Turkey and a “ ceasefire leading to Peace”. The entire World condemns Putin’s act of aggression, yet only Ukrainian might can force Putin to the bargaining table. Russian missiles, though damaging, are not up to Western offensives or defenses.

TheVoiceOfJoyce The brave Ukrainian soldiers taking more than 500 sq km are encountering resistance &/ or Russians abandoning their kit, weapons and tanks. Many Russians are afraid of capture , thinking the Ukrainians will be like them and submit them to torture. Unfortunately, everywhere Ukrainians retake villages, they find mass graves or torture sites. Kharkiv is liberated and headway is being made in the south in Kherson. The fighting continues, Putin’s support, in his inner circle, is weakening. Will the Russian people become disenchanted with the War? Does it matter? Erdogan is pressing Putin to agree to a Peace. Putin , unless deposed, is the only one able to end this War of aggression. Meanwhile, he’s holding on to power and getting money by plundering the Global South. Oil prices will increase once again, making it imperative for us to wean ourselves off oil. The World cannot sit idle and let Putin continue his War of aggression. Who can stand up to Putin?
