Dear followers, this post was written and published on Novmeber 12, 2015. It’s still relevant and shares my ideas about Bipartisanship. We have opened many fissures in our Society. Now is the time to legislate our way forward. Hate has no place in our Society, nor does ignorance. Let’s work together to repair our relationships, our Healthcare Systems, our connectedness to education. Through massive Infrastructure improvements, we can build new , better and provide decent pay to survive & thrive.
Stop being bent out of shape by partisan politics, business makes them all partners. According to a recent article in The Economist, Israel has found oil in the Golan Heights . They had help from Genie Energy, an energy company based in the USA. At this point you’re probably wondering what this has to do with Politics, so I’ll enlighten you dear reader.
- The Genie Board is composed of the following AMERICAN luminaries: Dick Cheney, Rupert Murdoch, Larry Summers, Bill Richardson and James Woolsey. Non partisan affiliations when it counts.
Therefore, dear followers, don’t think ideology, think what’s good for the Middle Class. Block out the party noise and start thinking ” what and who will make my quality of life better?”
Don’t we want laws to live by? Many are on the books but not enforced. Many laws need to be adjusted to balance the needs of the people with the ” Corporate Good”. Start questioning and become savvy. At the top it appears everyone walks and talks together. It’s just business!
Another tidbit from this week’s Economist, AMERICA ranks 3rd in the World for Mega tax havens and secrecy. No wonder so many folks want lower taxes. It’s hypocrisy ! As the world becomes less welcoming to tax dodgers, we American’s shield our Billionaire’s from declaring their assets making other nations mad as hell. They’re contemplating adding a 35% charge on payments from Europe to AMERICAN Financial institutions, until AMERICA gives up as much data as it receives . And you dear reader, thought Switzerland was the keeper of secrets, no more.
We’ve come a long way toward reestablishing the Gilded Age of the 1900’s. Where is TR ( Teddy Roosevelt) when we need him ? Ha Ha !
