TheVoiceOfJoyce A 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck the border between Turkey and Syria. The area housing Syrian refugees was demolished. Israel has been asked for aid, along with other Nations in the region. The 2 nd wave hit at 7.5 magnitude and was felt as far away as Egypt and Cypress. Many have died. This was the worst quake since 1939. Condolences.

It’s harder for the rescue teams to get in there to extract people…Buildings that may have sustained some damage but remain functional can then get another insult and they can collapse.
