Why do you think Congress created Agencies? They’re the regulatory body that protects workers from management abuse and injuries.
Under the Trump/Musk partnership the Agencies are being dismantled. No statistics are being collected by the USDA, allowing more worker injuries. There are no complaints either. Otherwise, workers on Visas are sent home. Is this the Society you want?
My entire working career, from 1976-2013, we cared about workers. Our Compensation Insurance Rates were tied to worker injuries. The more injuries, the higher your rates. We’re going backwards.
Trashing agencies, trashing our statistical data is not good for workers for sure. We’re going backwards to the Triangle Shirtwaist fire when 149 people lost their lives.
Is this how Trump intends to reduce pricing? We’ll injure and maim our workforce for greater profits? Then who is left to consume goods produced? We’ll have an unhealthy population in need of healthcare, disability benefits and these agencies will no longer be able to service an increasing unhealthy population? That’s your vision of the future? It isn’t mine.
