We will call on Skadden Arps to rescind their agreement to provide $100 million in pro bono services to Trump, and on Skadden Arps employees, associates, and partners to resign. No major law firm should allow themselves to be strong armed into providing services to Trump to avoid retribution or to gain “protection”.

To put it in perspective, five people held in Rikers have died so far this year, raising the total to 38 people who have died at Rikers since Mayor Adams took office. We will be outside ICE offices holding pictures of people who have been snatched away by ICE. We will have a responsive reading of names and will demand justice and due process for all people being sought, detained, and/or deported by ICE. Depending upon what EOs are released between now and the 15th our message may change, but we will be protesting the administration’s immigration policies, including disappearing people to CECOT prison in El Salvador.
