Rikers Vigil
It may seem odd to take out an hour of your time during a coup to protest conditions at a NYC Jail. To put it in perspective, five people held in Rikers have died so far this year, raising the total to 38 people who have died at Rikers since Mayor Adams took office. We can judge our city by how it treats its most vulnerable residents, and the city is failing miserably. Close Rikers, Keep ICE out of Rikers, and Adams Must Go! Join us!

Join us for our weekly demonstration outside Fox “News” headquarters. Trump lies and Fox repeats, and Fox lies and Trump repeats, and a large part of the American public believes the lies because they hear them over and over again. Help us push back against the right wing propaganda and protect democracy.

We will be visiting 2 of the law firms that are standing up to the Trump administration by fighting the illegal Executive Offers and refusing to be bullied into providing hundreds of millions of dollars in pro bono services to Trump. We have firm specific signs for each firm, and will be thanking them for doing the right thing (in this case – obviously major law firms are not always on the right side of justice).Thursday, June 5, 5PM-6PM
Permanent Mission of El Salvador To The United Nations – 46 Park Avenue (37th St.)
Free All U.S. Detainees in CECOT/El Salvador; Bring Them Home!
Join us outside the El Salvador Mission to read the names of the CECOT detainees and demand that all of them be returned safely back to the U.S., and that all of the detainees be allowed to argue their right to stay in the U.S. with due process. We also demand that El Salvador refuse to accept any additional detainees from the U.S. The Trump administration must follow the U.S. Court decisions requiring returning Kilmar Abrego Garcia to the U.S. and stop using the Enemy Aliens Act to abduct and/or deport people living in the U.S.
