Hi all–
Just sending along a reminder that the Citizen Action Climate Justice Committee is meeting on Monday at 6 p.m. over Zoom. You can RSVP to get the Zoom link here: https://mobilize.us/s/uHqGh2.
We need your ideas on how to express the urgency of the climate crisis in creative, effective ways. One way we’re going to do that is through a story bank project. We’ll collect stories from people impacted by extreme weather, like the extreme heat felt across NY the last week, and other stories from people who care deeply about climate progress. But we need your help in collecting stories, coming up with out-of-the-box ways to share the stories, and more.
We’ll also get into how we’re going to defend the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) from MAGA extremists looking to gut this crucial program.
