AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce In a first step to giving fast food workers a voice in wage and benefit negations, California Governor Gavin Newson has signed a new Law into effect. The Law effective , 1/23, would give fast food workers a seat at the Corporate table in all municipalities where they work. 500,000 workers will be represented by this Law and Fast Food chains are trying to overturn their rights thru a Referendum. Don’t buy the Fast Food Chains arguments. They’re not being harmed. They’re right to abuse and underpay staffing is their issue. Finally, one sector of Corporations will be legally accountable for their actions. Wages won’t be withheld, the abuse has to stop and people may earn a living wage and have a say in their work place environment. As an employee of a Corporation, wouldn’t you want a living wage and better working conditions? Wouldn’t you want a seat and a voice at the Corporate table? Support the Fast Food workers, vote for them not Corporate Power and let Californians craft more Laws favoring Labor. Labor isn’t responsible for inflation. Aren’t these Laws, in 24 States, curtailing our right to protest and freedom of speech? Why would you vote for Laws crafted by industry to curtail your rights under the Constitution? It has long been alleged, that Google sells our data to 3 rd Parties and those 3 rd Parties pay revenue to Google. Based on our behavior, we see “ Google ads selectively prioritized. These ads, may not be ads originating from the UK or the Netherlands. The Google ad roster may not benefit local newspapers or small businesses from the region of search. TheVoiceOfJoyce Nurses go on strike in Minnesota as negations continued over their contracts. They’re understaffed and requested a pay increase, claiming hospital administrators are well compensated and refuse to acknowledge, patient care is suffering. During a period, when 768 nurses left the profession, patient care declined 33%, characterized by adverse health outcomes. 15, 000 nurses are ready to strike. From what I’ve read and heard around the country, nursing staff is short on personnel and they’re unable to administer proper patient care. Why doesn’t America have a standard of care for all facilities? A known ratio of patient to nurse care? This standard of care would be applicable to hospitals and nursing homes, allowing healthcare professionals to concentrate on care giving, increasing patient healthcare positive outcomes. .

TheVoiceOfJoyce Europe is experiencing the worst drought in 500 yrs and it hasn’t ended yet. Manufacturers are at 25% capacity, since barges are unable to use the Rivers for transport. No one knows when this drought will end. We do know water resources are at a premium. Crops, power and manufacturing have been effected and costs for power are rising as hydropower costs soar. Norway, intended to ship excess capacity to the EU. There reserves may make that impossible. They’ll need to maintain their own resources to survive. Meanwhile, in another climate scenario, in San Francisco, scientists are warning of a major flood and rain storm, that could dump 30 inches of rain in several days. No one knows when this will occur, scientists predict this will occur. Be prepared to trap as much water as possible for future use. When this event occurs, snow will form in the Sierra Nevada mountains, depositing 25-30 ft of snow. Unusual weather patterns will be the World’s norm. Are we prepared?

TheVoiceOfJoyce Another Corporation with no oversight and Cancer clusters are in southern New Hampshire ! PFAS, toxic forever chemicals have leached into our waters, once again. PFAS chemicals are all over: army bases are contaminated. Where are Regulations and Congressional oversight? Why aren’t Corporations held accountable? Fined? Made to clean our waters and provide health care to the 1000’s of citizens affected? Good governance has good laws to protect us, “We the People”, from harm. This is not an isolated incident. It’s another toxin we’re living with or dying from while our Government is grid locked. Flint has lead in their water. New Jersey has lead in their water and paint. Louisiana has toxic alley from petrochemicals. St. Louis has nuclear waste that was buried and leached into their water supply. Isn’t anybody writing Laws to provide us with clean drinkable water and fresh air to breathe? When do we decide our health and well being are more important than Corporate profits?

Now, the People know it’s a necessity to bargain collectively for pay, benefits, work life balance. They want a seat at the table and will collect the necessary votes before year end. With a friendly NLRB, Delta’s previous Union busting tactics, may not to advised. Kudos, the People have spoken once again!
